Salary: £28,000-£52,000

About the Role:  

Supply Desk are currently seeking enthusiastic, adaptable and dedicated Primary Supply Teachers to work across welcoming and supportive schools in the Watford area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher looking for flexibility while making a positive impact on pupils’ learning and development.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across the primary age range, creating a positive classroom environment and ensuring pupils remain motivated, supported and engaged in their learning.

Whether you are an experienced teacher looking for a new opportunity or an ECT seeking to gain valuable classroom experience, this role offers the flexibility to work across a variety of primary school settings.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the individual needs and abilities of pupils.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote positive attitudes towards learning.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide appropriate feedback to support development.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents/carers.
• Follow school policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other school staff to support pupil learning and wellbeing.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:  

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent).
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A flexible, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching.
• A passion for education and helping children achieve their full potential.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
