Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Picker/Packers. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently preparing products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are maintained. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience to develop their skills within a dynamic environment. The position involves physical activity, including standing for long periods, and requires a proactive approach to safety and organisation.

Shifts; 4 nights on 4 nights off, 22:00 - 07:00 with overtime available. Working a weekly rota including weekends.

Duties

• Carefully select and pack items according to order specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Handle materials with care, maintaining proper stock organisation within the warehouse
• Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and update records
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading lorries.
• Conduct quality control checks on packed items to meet company standards
• Maintain a clean and organised packing area, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily packing targets and deadlines

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, including picking & packing, stocking, and materials handling
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous
• Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures
• Attention to detail to ensure high-quality packing standards
• Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
