Team Leader – Children’s Residential Care

📍 Chalfont St. Peter
💷 £16.25–£16.85 per hour
🌙 £62.64 per sleep-in | 4–8 per month
💰 Potential earnings: £35,955–£40,171
⏰ Full-time, Permanent | Long days & sleep-ins

We are recruiting an experienced Team Leader to support children and young people within a residential children’s home.

You will lead shifts, support the residential care team and provide safe, nurturing and child-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and support Residential Support Workers.
• Provide high-quality children’s residential care.
• Build positive relationships with young people.
• Support care plans, activities and independence.
• Promote safeguarding and positive behaviour.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
• Work with families and other professionals.
• Support the day-to-day running of the home.

About You

• 12+ months’ experience with children and young people.
• Experience in children’s residential care.
• Confident managing challenging behaviour.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Level 3 Residential Childcare / Children & Young People desirable.
• Full UK driving licence.
