Sales Manager

Location: Wooburn Green
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (no commission)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 5.00pm
Contract: Permanent
Benefits: Pension, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays

We’re looking for an experienced Sales Manager with a background within ventilation, extraction, filtration, HVAC, ductwork, LEV or a closely related industrial systems environment.

This is a hands-on sales role, managing enquiries from initial customer contact through to quotation, order and handover. You’ll work with both new and existing customers, building strong relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities of the Sales Manager:

• Develop new business and manage existing customer accounts
• Respond to customer enquiries and understand individual requirements
• Attend customer sites where required
• Prepare quotations and proposals
• Manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to order and handover
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Follow up quotations and progress opportunities through to sale
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met
• Maintain accurate customer, quotation and order information
• Help coordinate jobs once orders are secured
• Identify new sales opportunities within industrial and manufacturing environments

Key Requirements of the Sales Manager:

• Previous experience within ventilation, extraction, filtration, HVAC, ductwork, LEV or a closely related industrial systems environment is essential
• Previous sales, business development or account management experience
• Good technical understanding with the confidence to discuss customer requirements
• Experience working with industrial or manufacturing customers would be advantageous
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Confident preparing quotations and progressing opportunities
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Competent using Microsoft Office
• Full UK driving licence
