Job Description:

We are an award-winning company and one of Europe's leading designers and manufactures within the engineering sector employing over 250 staff. We are now seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to join our team, to oversee maintenance operations and lead a team of three technicians within a busy manufacturing environment.

The suitable applicant for this role will have proven team leader experience and seeking a new challenge or be covering some team leadership duties as part of their role and seeking a step up, whereby team leading is an everyday part of their job. You will also need to have experience in a hands-on maintenance role, ideally within an engineering and/or manufacturing environment.

Working Monday to Friday 37.5hrs a week 8am – 4.30pm with an early finish on Friday, offering a salary of up to £46k and excellent benefits including; a profit share bonus scheme paid twice yearly, 24 days holiday plus bank holidays and an excellent benefit package comprising of: Enhanced Pension, Free Parking, Tools provided, Uniform Provided, Retail Discounts, Cycle to work, Gym discounts, Car maintenance scheme and more.

The main aim of the Maintenance Team Leader role is to oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum equipment performance. Working closely with Production, Engineering and Senior Management teams, you'll balance preventative maintenance, breakdown response and improvement projects while developing a high-performing maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities
• Manage the PPM schedule to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime
• Support fault finding, breakdown response and continuous improvement projects
• Develop, motivate and manage the maintenance team
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and promote a strong health & safety culture
• Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to achieve operational targets

What We're Looking For:

• Previous maintenance experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Team Leader, Supervisor or people management experience
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities
• Good IT skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
• Commitment to health, safety and quality standards
