Learning Support Assistant - Specialist SEN School, Uxbridge

As a Learning Support Assistant in this specialist setting, you will:

• Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including speech and communication difficulties, sensory processing challenges, and medical or physical conditions.
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to deliver personalised learning plans and targeted interventions.
• Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence, and resilience while supporting positive social interactions.
• Help create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment where pupils feel supported and valued.
• Assist with personal care where required, always maintaining dignity and following safeguarding procedures.

• Experience working with SEN or supporting young people with additional needs is desirable but not essential.
• A caring, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting pupils.
• Positive behaviour management skills with a calm and supportive attitude.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
