Walker & Sloan are working with an outstanding specialist contractor to recruit an ambitious Design Coordinator to join one of the UK's most exciting mission-critical construction projects.

Our client has built an exceptional reputation for delivering technically complex projects across the Data Centre, Defence and Energy sectors. With over 40 years of specialist expertise, they continue to deliver landmark developments where innovation, collaboration and technical excellence are at the heart of every project.

This opportunity will see you joining a flagship hyperscale data centre development in Acton, supporting the delivery of one of London's most significant live construction projects while developing your career within an experienced and highly respected design team.

The Role

As Design Coordinator, you'll play an integral role in supporting the management and coordination of design information throughout the project lifecycle.

Working alongside experienced Design Managers, consultants, subcontractors and operational teams, you'll help ensure design information is issued accurately, managed efficiently and delivered in line with programme requirements.

From coordinating design deliverables and maintaining project documentation through to supporting design reviews and Common Data Environment (CDE) management, you'll become a key member of the project team helping to drive successful project delivery.

About You

You'll already have experience working within a construction, engineering or design environment and possess a solid understanding of the construction design process.

You'll be highly organised, proactive and confident managing multiple streams of information while building strong relationships with consultants, subcontractors and project teams.

Experience using Common Data Environments (CDEs), project management platforms or document management systems would be advantageous, together with knowledge of Building Regulations, technical documentation and design coordination processes.]
