Customer Sales Assistant

Looking for a people-focused role where you can build your confidence, develop sales skills and work with some fantastic charity campaigns?

Moon Moments is recruiting on behalf of a growing client in Watford for a Customer Sales Assistant to join their face-to-face sales and customer engagement team.

This is an in-person role where you'll meet members of the public across local communities, busy shopping areas and residential locations. You'll represent nationally recognised charities, raise awareness of their work and speak with potential supporters about getting involved.

You don't need previous sales experience. Full training, ongoing coaching and support are provided from day one.

What You'll Be Doing

• Represent nationally recognised charities through face-to-face sales and customer engagement

• Speak with members of the public in locations where people live, work and shop

• Explain charity campaigns, their goals and the impact of ongoing support

• Build rapport through friendly, confident and informative conversations

• Answer questions and help interested supporters through the sign-up process

• Work towards individual and team sales and performance targets

• Deliver a positive and professional experience during every interaction

What We're Looking For

• Friendly, confident and approachable personality

• Strong communication and people skills

• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn

• Comfortable speaking with new people face-to-face

• Motivated by goals and personal development

• Previous experience in sales, retail, hospitality or customer service is beneficial but not essential

Earnings & Benefits

• £1,935–£2,000 per calendar month, made up of minimum weekly pay and uncapped performance-based commission, subject to successful completion of a four-week probationary period
