Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join an industry leading main contractor on an exciting and confidential and groundbreaking £10m project in the automotive sector. • Assist with cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management for the project.  
• Work collaboratively with the Quantity Surveyor to ensure the accurate preparation of valuations, cost reports, and final accounts.  
• Conduct site visits to track progress and assess project cost implications. 
• Support the procurement process, including preparing tender documentation and assessing bids.  
• Measure and value work completed on-site to inform interim payment applications and variations.  
• Assist in managing risks and opportunities related to project costs.  
• Ensure compliance with contractual and legal obligations while maintaining confidentiality under the NDA.  
• Maintain accurate project records and comprehensive cost documentation.  

Qualifications  

• Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role, with prior exposure to projects in the automotive or construction sectors considered an advantage.   
• Ability to work within the confines of strict confidentiality agreements (NDA).  
• A relevant degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
